I sent this video clip out to many people via email last week. (Thank you Mel). But after also seeing it on a friends blog, I decided that I would add it to mine. I hope to not offend any of my friends who may be BO supporters, but figured since this is my blog, I can do what I want! :) Here is a 10 minute video on Barack Obama (or what ever his real name is) that is VERY worth watching.

Republican vs. Democrat - Do some even really know the difference?
So I am taking this post directly from my mejo's blog (aka John Turner). Plagiarizing at it's finest! I couldn't have said it better and had to pass along this radio talk show link. All I can say is this is sad and scary at the same time. People have no idea what they are voting for and if you don't even know who the candidates running mates are, you shouldn't be allowed to vote. Thanks mejo.
TL forwarded me this clip from the Howard Stern talk show which plays on Sirius radio. I think the guy is foul. However, I think this little stint is BRILLIANT! This is part of the reason why I think choosing a political party or affiliation doesn’t make any sense. People tend to choose a side and don’t even know why. They’ll vote one way or another, but not know what they voted for or why they did. It’s a popularity contest. It’s a vote amongst the races. It is so scary to think ignorant people such as these are out there voting for the next President! I think the majority of the people vote for one candidate solely because they’re affiliated with a particular party. They don’t even know or listen to the issues. It’s not right.

Listen to this clip. You’re going to be in shock…or maybe not. It's about three minutes long. Enjoy!

Girls Gone Mild #3 - Ceramics Style
This past Friday (10/3/08) was our 3rd Girls Night Out (GNO). We decided to switch it up a bit from our previous activities that have left us rather sore the next day (roller skating, dancing, bowling) and we went to a ceramics studio and dinner We had a great time. Here we are getting our paint on.

After our ceramics extravaganza, we cruised the King Sooper parking lot at negative 2 miles an hour - no joke - thank you Aislinn and then headed out to dinner at Rock Bottom. Most of us had never been there before and we were all really happy with how nice it was.
Here is Kari, Michelle and Eliza in the backseat of Ais's car. I have no idea what they could possibly be laughing at. (FYI - Eliza always cries when she laughs - we really don't "make" her cry on purpose.) hee hee

Here are Kari and Eliza throwing some hard core Vampire 4 Life signs.

Too bad though your Vampires ain't got nothing on our Werewolf's 4 Life!!!!

Had another GRRRRREAT evening with the best gals in town!!! Very much looking forward to our next GNO on 11/21/08 Twlight premier ladies - hoooollllaaaa!!! Can't wait!

Busy Weekend
After our field trip to the Fire Station last week, Grayson and Lauren have been obsessed with their new red plastic fireman's hats. Grayson so much so that he wore it for two days straight. Here are some hysterical pics of him - in what else.....nothing - with his hat on.

Friday afternoon I was cleaning house and thought it had been pretty quiet in the living room. The kids were suppose to be in there eating their lunch on their lunch trays and watching tv. This is what I found......bless their hearts. They apparently were both extremely tired and passed out in the middle of lunch.

Saturday we took the twins to the Discovery Science Museum in Ft. Collins. There were a lot of different things there for them to interact with, play, touch, etc. Of course I have the only kids on the face of the earth I'm sure that are scared of EVERYTHING!!!!However, shortly after we walked out of a room that had a large paper dinosaur and a stuffed bear that my daughter was petrified over, we turned the corner and saw a volunteer with a REAL snake in her arms. I was sure she was going to loose it right then. I even thought I wet myself there for a moment. Grayson couldn't hold on to my leg tight enough and I was still on the verge of passing out. Much to my surprise, Lauren TOUCHED THE THING!!!! TWICE!!!! Yea still pretty in shock over the situation myself. But it did happen and of course I was there with camera in hand to capture it. I finally grazed the the thing with the tip of my finger and almost had a heart attack. We won't be doing that again.

New Blog Subscription Link
Grammie & Grampies please read so you know what to do. :)
When I first created this blog I had a link on the ride side bar of the blog that allowed you to enter in your email account and receive email updates each time I updated my blog. That was through a company called blogarithm. They were taken over by a company called RSSFWD who has had many problems along the way and just can't seem to get their act together. For this reason you may have received updates to my blog several days late or even weeks later. I actually just received an update from a post I made last June!!! What the? Anyway, they have been working out a bunch of kinks in the conversion process but I am just not happy with them. So if you did subscribe to my blog I am not sure how to tell you to unsubscribe to www.RSSFWD.com, however I have a new link on the side bard that says "subscribe to my blog updates" where you can enter in your email address and it takes you to www.feedblitz.com They will then ask you for one more step to the process and send you a confirmation email. Very easy. This notification process is much quicker and usually sends out updates within 12-24 hours of new posts. When you do get email updates they will come to you in email form. To go directly to my blog just click on the title of that post and you will be redirected to the blog.

Twins 1st field trip to the Fire Station
So last week was the twins first preschool field trip to one of the local Fire Stations. Everything went relatively well until one of the fireman put on the full suit and gear. Of course I had the only kids that were TERRIFIED of him. Grayson had his ears covered the entire time while Lauren kept telling me she wanted to leave because she was "scary in her tummy". Once we finished that portion of the tour, we were able to see where the firemen sleep, watch one of them slide down the pole and then get a tour of the trucks. This was by far the best part for the kids. Here are some cute pics from our morning at the Fire Station.

After the field trip we all went to the park, played and had snacks. I don't think Lauren will ever feel comfortable walking across those dang bridges or going down a slide by herself, but the teeter totter seemed to do the trick.

Slumber party & new chairs
So the last night that grandma Marlene was here Lauren insisted she sleep on the floor with her and Grayson in the basement. Here is a cute pic of the beds that Lauren laid out for all of them. Too cute.

Here are the new "club" chairs that grandma picked up for the twins playroom. We won't talk about how nasty the fabric chairs had become that they previously had. Quite professional looking I must stay.
